Terms & Conditions of Trading

 

General

Our oysters are grown in Ballinakill Bay, Dawros, Letterfrack, Connemara Co Galway.

We are a licenced dispatch centre and our premises and depuration procedures are monitored by the SFPA Sea Fisheries Protection Authority. Our Licence number is IE GY 0091 EC.

Oysters are an allergen and must be live when consumed and or just before cooking.

Store in fridge and ensure they are alive before consumption.

 

Orders

Availability:

Your order is not accepted until an order confirmation is issued to you

All orders are subject to availability

The Company reserves the right to refuse the sale of goods

Payment:

The payment for goods is in Euro and payment is made via PayPal.

We do not carry out an order without having received payment from the person placing the order

Time of payment when ordering online is immediate through PayPal

Our Website checkout is secure.

Cancellation of orders

Oysters are an allergen and must be live when served. Due to the perishable nature of the product cancellation of an order can only take place prior to shipment. Orders can be cancelled in writing by email up to 10am on the day of shipment.

Shipping

Our dispatch days are Monday to Thursday except for bank holidays. We are not responsible for any delays in delivery due to local holidays at destination. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that the delivery date does not fall on a holiday, and that the delivery is not delayed by holidays during the transit period. Delays in transit caused by the customer providing, wrong or incomplete delivery address, wrong or missing phone number, not being able to accept delivery at the time of delivery is the sole responsibility of the customer.

Delivery charges are displayed when ordering on line

Within Ireland and Northern Ireland

We deliver to destinations within Ireland and Northern Ireland. Deliveries are executed by courier and An Post parcel service. In general delivery times are 24 hours from dispatch but may take 48 hours.

Within United Kingdom

We deliver to destination within the United Kingdom. Deliveries are executed by courier and An Post parcel service. In general delivery times are 48 hours from dispatch but may take 72 hours.

Value Added tax is included if applicable in the price of the product.

 

Faulty or Damaged goods

Oysters are an allergen and must be live when packaged and dispatched. Oysters must be live when served or before cooking. We undertake to deliver the product in good condition and if on receipt of the product the packaging is damaged or the contents are damaged please contact us immediately by phone at + 353 87 9186997 or by email at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. We will dispatch a replacement order or refund the value of your order whichever you prefer.

Should the goods delivered be damaged or the oyster is open the product should not be served or cooked by the customer. We will arrange an immediate refund of the value of your order or a replacement order whichever you prefer.
 

Force Majeure

We assure you that we will do our best to meet your requirements. Due to unforeseen circumstances, however, variations or cancellations may be necessary as a result of Act of God, war, bad weather conditions, labour dispute, fire, floods, or other causes beyond our control.

Irish Law

These terms and conditions shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland, and the customer submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
